How to run an in-store offer using Privy

If you’re looking to run an in-store offer using Privy, there are options available to you for that specific purpose.

Before setting an in-store offer up, it is important to enable the appropriate settings.

To do this, click on the “Settings” tab on the upper left portion of your screen.

From there, select “Business Settings” on the left side of the screen.

Then, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select the option labeled “Enabled store location features?”. Save your changes by clicking on the blue “Save Changes’ button on the bottom left side of the screen.

After you’ve enabled these options, return to your Privy home screen by clicking on the “Campaigns” tab on the far upper left side of the screen.

Once on the campaigns screen, click on the icon for the campaign that you wish to make changes to.

Once you’ve selected your campaign, click on the “Behavior” tab on the upper left portion of the screen.

After clicking on the “Behavior” tab, select the option labeled “In-store redemption”.

On the In-store redemptions options, choose if you want your customers to use their mobile devices or receive a printable item that they can bring into your store for redemption.

If opt for mobile device redemption you will see the following options:

Fill in all appropriate fields and click on the red “Save changes” button on the upper right corner of the screen.

Please note: If you wish to view how your campaign will display, click on the “Mobile Preview” button prior to saving your changes.

If you opt for a printable coupon redemption you will see the following options:

Fill in all appropriate fields and click on the red “Save changes” button on the upper right corner of the screen.

After making the appropriate changes. Select a schedule for your offer.

You can select either an ongoing schedule or a fixed schedule. If you select the fixed schedule option you will be required to enter additional date information.

Once you’ve selected the options specific to your campaign click on the red “Save changes” button on the upper right corner of the screen.

From this point, return to “Settings” at the top of your screen. Once there, click on “Store locations”.

Select the blue “Add New Location” button on the upper right portion of the screen.

Populate all information fields, then click on blue “Save” button on the bottom right corner of the screen.

From this point, consumers will use their phones to redeem the offer in-store. We validate they are in-store using the customer’s location and the address of the stores you’ve added under “locations”. We also prevent offer and redemption fraud if we track someone trying to redeem the offer a second time.

Once all of the details for your campaign have been set up, you can track your redemptions via the Privy dashboard.
